7/3/2020 TART trail TC to Suttons Bay
A great day to start a new adventure. Captain America tunes up the bike for the hot summer ride.
And the adventure begins!
The maps along the trail.
Apparently, TART supports the local wine industry.
The scenic route!
Interesting old architecture on the trail – memories of days gone by.
And of course, lots of flowers on the way.
There was a local farmer that decorated the trail for the riders.
Many places along the trail, riders were blessed with the joy of riding through tree tunnels.
Arriving Suttons Bay.
The dream was to ride to Suttons Bay and splurge on an ice cream cone – praying I wouldn’t join the I.S.A.F. club on this ride as I really wanted a chocolate cone. But my excitement turned into a big sigh when I realized I joined a new club – called I.F.M.M. (I forgot my money). Well, I still had water so I took a stroll down the road to see all the shining spinning things.
As I was leaving Suttons Bay, a wave a sadness/wonder came over me. I saw this old fashion phone booth. It got me wondering, how do our superheroes change into their capes – how does underdog go from shoeshine boy to superhero without ducking into a phone booth, and what about superman? Do superheroes no longer exist because phone booths no longer exist?
I pondered this question until the next question came into my head. Why did the bicyclist cross the road?
To find the perfect daisy!!!! Which is always a great way to end an adventure.
